OUR STORY – PROUDLY LOCAL 

The Pronature story began at the heart of a small Quebec family business. Founded in Upton in 1969 by M. Jean-Marie Brasseur, PLB International initially produced feed for farm animals. It was in 1981 that the company, now located in Boucherville, dedicated itself to the production of dog and cat food. PLB International was then the first Quebec manufacturer in the pet food industry. The Pronature Original line was launched in 1993, and Pronature Life was created in 2017. 

Today, the third generation of the Brasseur family leads the company. The family has surrounded itself with a team of ambitious Quebecers who are both creative and passionate about animals. We proudly produce high-quality pet food. All employees work with heart because we feed the food we produce to our own pets. No compromises, no shortcuts – here, we give our best every day!
